As a sisterhood of professional martial artists on a collective mission to empower the communities where we live and interact, our goal is to help enhance the lives in the communties where we serve. We seek to accelerate residents' efforts to be self-sufficient, self-determined, and supported in reaching new heights.
We accomplish our mission initiatives through workshops that uplift, educate, and inspire others to thrive, share tips and techniques for managing stress and guarding their personal safety, support outreach programs (i.e., adult reading lessons) that open new doors of opportunities, donate scholarships for continued education, support health initiatives, and more. From the Founder &
Executive Director
This year - January 31, 2024 - marks our sixth year as a sisterhood of martial artists who came together to serve others. The compassionate women of Mu Alpha Sigma, Inc., who month-after-month serve others, is soul stirring. Our six year journey has had its ups-and-downs, but we have gained new experiences, made new connections, sharpened our skills, and gained greater wisdom.

There are millions of people that we will touch with our kindness, but we know our efforts will only continue to grow and expand with other like-minded martial art women continually joining our efforts to serve. So, if you are a woman in the martial arts who is passionate about serving others, then we invite you to consider membership with the first and only women's martial artists sorority.

Service is not our sole purpose but our soul's purpose, so we do it fearlessly, gratefully, and gracefully.
